.uk domains
The United Kingdom extension
Since 2014, UK businesses and people can register short .uk names directly, alongside the long-established .co.uk. Both are run by Nominet.
Who can register?
Open to anyone worldwide; Nominet requires accurate registrant details and may ask for a UK address for service.
